Well, a series was always a better idea than a one shot movie. From the longer article I read posted on Thundercats Lair it seems like a reboot, ala anime. Wonder if they will have....healers.

Guess they missed the 25 year mark, so they are going for 26. Hope they get the original voice cast back as much as is possible.

Well after reading the article a second time (first time had to be fast cause I had to leave), I am quite hopeful for this new series, especially considering that the studio that will be creating it and the producers have all had very good shows in the past. I quite liked the Batman Bold and Brave, Gotham Knights, Teen Titans, and Ben 10. Though they were anime, and I'm not much of a fan of anime, those were some very memorable shows. I think they will do well with it, though I don't think they would use any of the original cast, except as maybe guest stars or cameos.

This looks cool!  I hope they can make it as awesome as the original.  Any ideas when it's actually hitting the airwaves other than 2011?

Hmm...very intersting indeed.  It sounds like it could be majorly awesome or terrible depending on how things go.  "the grand origin story of Prince Lion-O’s ascension to the throne" you mean Thundera blowing itself apart and Lord Claudus staying to help his people got off the planet?  Maybe the Eye of Thundera is one of the Stones of Power and thats why Mumm-Ra and the Mutants are always after it. Thats my take on it anyway.  Can't wait to find out more!

Larry as ClaudUs, new toy line at sounds like they will be releasing a classic toy series as well as a new series my hopes are definitely beginning to rise on this
